Happy Birthday!!!

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY, ZACHARY!!!!!!

(he's the one on the left)

We love you so much, even though you can be rather goofy at times!

Now, lest any of you think I am terribly mean for posting these two pictures of him, please know that he deserved it! He ruined two perfectly good pictures ON PURPOSE, so this is his "punishment". :)

Noah and Elizabeth

In the beginning of January (I know, I know, this post is VERY overdue!) Noah and Elizabeth came up from Kansas. Although they had been planning the visit for over a month and a half, I didn't know about it until they got here! Needless to say, I was absolutely SHOCKED and THRILLED to pieces!! We had such a fun visit, and it went by much too fast (as usual).

Here are some snapshots (courtesy of Elizabeth's fantastic camera!) from the visit.

Jake LOVED Noah to death!

Sweet Anja!

On Saturday we went to one of the boys' basketball games, where Elizabeth took over 200 pictures!

Jake loves playing ball!

Elizabeth got some great action shots!

Go team!

A basket - yay!!

Isaac (#21) and Zack (#11).

The beautiful photographer!

Yummy . . . . .

M&M's!!

Shooting a free-throw.

We beat them by 5 (I believe) and the game was very action-packed!

Aleks and Elizabeth!!

Emmy, Grace and Noah!

Buddies - Noah and Jake!!

Special friends - Elizabeth and Aliisa!

An intense game of checkers . . . . .

. . . which are tasty, I guess!

Relaxing . . . . .

Chatting . . . .

Tickle fights!

Get Elizabeth!

Fun times!

Jake's hideaway; in the cupboard with his bottle!

This past summer Noah spent about 2 months in China. Since we have a lot of interest in China ourselves, we were very interested in hearing all about his trip.

The enthralled audience!

Watching closely . . . .

Listening attentively.

The day before they left us six oldest went to Pizza Hut for lunch, and got a couple pictures.
A goofy picture (of course!).

Great friends!

Thank you both SO much for coming! We all had a wonderful time, and hopefully it isn't quite as long before we can see you again!!

We love you guys!
