Since our blog has sadly been lacking in the area of regular posts, here is a "catch-up post"!
Jacob is now 9 1/2 months, and so big! He has 4 or 5 teeth with at least 2 more on the way in! Even in the midst of teething, he has been such a happy, content baby. We truly are blessed!

Awwww, Mom and Jake-man!Jake especially loves his Dad and brothers (Mom is still #1 when he's hungry!) and is happiest when with one of them!
The "griller-in-training" fell asleep on the job!One of our favorite things to do during the summer is grill-out, and we have already done so several times!

We recently got "into" shish-kabobs, and Dad does an amazing job making them!Us oldest five children have enjoyed going to square dances several times a month. Here are some pictures from the latest dance we went to!

During the breaks the boys (and sometimes a girl or two!) pass the time playing cards.One of our cats had four kittens in May. They are so cute!!

We enjoyed watching the back-hoe dig up some of the huge stumps that were in our yard!Aliisa made a quilt for some friends who had a baby girl in March. Grandma Klahn wanted to see pictures, so here they are!

The back.We "enjoyed" a power outage one evening for about two hours. We used candles for light, and the little girls thought it was great!
