AWWWWW......those are such SWEET pictures, Ali!!! Seth and Noah have always loved holding our babies, and it's always so precious to see the guys with little ones!! Oh, and it looks like Zack has a Klahn mouth too!! :) Jake is getting SOO big!! Awww.....I miss him!! I miss you SOOO much!! I'm really hoping and praying that we can get together sometime-- maybe I can fly out for a week later this Spring or something-- unless something turns up sooner!! You guys aren't taking a roadtrip to Kansas anytime soon are you??? There are some really cool things here in Kansas!! You really should consider it!! :) Gotta run- Love you!! ~Elizabeth
I know what you mean about "big, tough guys" holding little babies! It's so funny watching Ike and Zack talk to Jake, because they talk all goofy and act silly, and all because of a baby! It's so sweet! Actually, all of us have the Klahn mouth! It's a Klahn family "trait"! I miss you, too!! It feels like FOREVER since I was at your house! I just realized it's almost been 2 months already! I would LOVE to take a road trip to Kansas - but we can't pull that off right now! Hopefully this spring/summer we can get our families together! Love you! Aliisa P.S. Tell your family I said "hi!"
I totally agree- our boys do some of the silliest stuff when they are with babies! Watching 'big tough guys' with babies is SO precious and sweet!! I'm glad that our brothers appreciate little ones like they do!! I know-- I was mostly teasing about the road trip!! Friday afternoon we processed 6 deer for the Wissmanns. They didn't have time to finish their bus and do their deer before they leave on their trip (they'll be gone for 8 weeks, and they are leaving this Thursday) so they asked us to process the deer for them. It took us around 5 hours to do all the deer, but we were tired when we finished. Seth had Friday off to rest, pack and get ready because yesterday he left for Las Vegas. He was going to leave at 6am, but our neighbor, long-time friend and Seth's first boss passed away on Monday and the funeral was yesterday morning (Saturday), so he stayed for the funeral then set right out for L.V. They stopped in Denver for an hour to eat supper last night, then drove through the night and got there this morning. He'll get back sometime next week--the 28th or the 29th. I'm going to miss him!! It seems like years since you were here but it is just 2 months!! It's crazy how time flies!! I can't believe that the first month of January is already half over!! Yikes!! If the whole year flies by this fast, it will be 2009 before we know it! Missing you SOOO bad!! Tell everyone there 'hello' for me-- hopefully I can come up sometime soon!! Love you!! ~Elizabeth P.S. Seth is going to Las Vegas for a conrete show. It's hilarious because when we tell people he's going there they just look at us so funny, until we explain that it's for his job!! :)
I have to agree with what Elizabeth was saying about how sweet it is for teen guys to hold babies. Alex fights for them! lol It's really cute, actually. :) It shows a nice tender side of them...they can still be "tough" and "manly" or whatever, even when they grab the babies! :) -Allison
Ali, I am SOO bummed that the Packers lost!! When I saw that they lost, I said "There are some very sad people in the Klahn household right now!!" Seth called to tell me they were playing at the end of the 3rd quarter, and I started cheering for them!! I was on the internet keeping track of the game, and when the Giants missed their field-goal I went through the roof!! I was SO excited!! I just knew the Packers would 'put it away' and win the game!! So when Dad refreshed the page, and it said they lost, I was so disappointed!!! :( But I was cheering for them, even if they lost!! Noah laughed, but Dad felt sorry for me that they lost. I almost called you, but decided that it would be too tempting to have a long conversation, so I decided against it. Well, Gotta run!! I miss you SOO much!! Love, ~Elizabeth
Yeah, it's sad when you see guys who don't even like children/babies. I am so thankful for our brothers and the wonderful way they have with little children!
Wow, Seth will be gone a long time (of course I don't have to tell you that!)! I bet you'll miss him like CRAZY!! I know I would miss the boys, if they were gone that long. I remember when you told me he was going to Las Vegas and I was a little surprised, but then it all made sense once you explained. ;)
I know - it's already the 21st of January, another week and a half and it's February already! Speaking of February . . . . . any chance of a visit?!
Wow, you're a better fan than I am: I saw a little of the first part, but then the boys and Dad went to work and I didn't pay much attention after that. Around 8pm I went to the Schwalbachs (they were having a game night with a bunch of friends) and listened to a little bit of it on the way over, but then I didn't see any more. I'm glad I didn't watch the end, because the "suspension" surely would've killed me! ;P We were all so bummed that they lost! Now we're hoping the Giants can beat the Patriots!! So, if you would've called, I wouldn't have been home, and I would've been disappointed to miss your call! It was such a sweet though, though!! Love you LOTS!! Aliisa
Well, I'm not that much of a better fan, I would have had no clue that they were playing if Seth hadn't called me. Yeah, I miss him SOO much!! He called on Sunday night and we talked for a few minutes!! Last night I was making lunches for the guys and I started making Seth's and then I realized- he's not here!! That was a sad realization!! I can't wait till this next weekend!! He's coming becak either Saturday or Monday, so of course, I'm hoping it's Saturday!! :) I wish a visit could've worked out in February. Scott and Lydia are still trying to get the dates figured out around his work schedule, and I think if I asked to go at this point, it would be sort of an hassle for them. Of course, they'd try to make it work for me, but I'd feel bad making them go through all the trouble. But I'm hoping- maybe March or April!! Well, I gotta run!!! Time to make lunch!! I miss you SOOOOO bad!!! Love you Lots, ~Elizabeth P.S. I showed Dad what I did- he was thrilled!! :) Actually, he didn't mind that much, I think he rather liked the attention!! :)

Aw, those are so sweet! Babies are so fun to snuggle. :) It looks like they get lots of big brother/little brother bonding time.
